About Author: Dr. Santosh has a background in Hard Material Application and is a product designer. He has a PhD from the Utkal University of Culture-UUC, Bhubaneswar, and a professional postgraduate diploma from the Indian Institute of Crafts and Design-IICD, Jaipur. Household items and traditional handicrafts are the main areas of specialization. He has about 16-17 years of varied professional experience and is an explorer, researcher, designer, scholar, and author. Currently, he teaches different core design subjects to the students of B.Des, M.Des, and Doctorate at the Banasthali Vidyapith, Rajasthan (a deemed university with NAAC’s A++ grading) as an Associate Professor (Design). For his professional contributions to the design sector, Dr. Jha has won a few international and national-level awards and honors from the government and other organizations of repute.
